Thanks to the internet one can find so many things to buy. These hats are plastered in so many stores online. Many are not true panamas, or don't have good reviews or service. As any consumer there is value in trusting and having met the salesman, store or owner. Oska has made a good amount of videos about his hats. He makes a good impression on what type of person he is and how much he cares about his product. This makes me feel like I can choose his store for this purchase and all future purchases. I don't need to go and look for cheaper stores online or different inventory. I feel Truffaux will help accommodate any order, changes or modifications. On to my hat then... Yes it's hard to buy something you haven't tried on, danced around the mirror a few times, winked at the wife to see if she approves or thinks you are retarded, or having the chance to inspect up close. A simple email.of your mug and Oska will give you his advice on what might look good on that bald head of yours. I wanted something classy, but also not too expensive where I would be afraid to take out and travel with. It is extremely light weight. So now my other hats feel too heavy and hot. The color is not as yellow as the picture. That was one of the main reasosn I chose this model. I'm sure it was a whitebalan in the camera that was off. I have to say the brown colored bow in the pic don't look bad. Maybe I'll upgrade it one day. I have no panamas to compare it but it's a nice creamy white. So not bad in color. Size it's fitting really good with 3 strips of foam provided until it starts to shrink. Very nice Oska double checks with you before sending the order out. For the shape this hat is true to the picture. From the deep scoop of the rear brim to the crown shape and all. Hat smells amazing. I'm sure it's the fragrance Oska sells online. Overall it was a great experience. Make sure to match it with some retro shades and a shirt with a collar. Don't look as good in t-shirts.
