The Casablanca Fedora

I live in Spain and scanned the internet for a suitable Panama hat. I came across the Truffaut website and was immediately struck by the attention to detail and the professionalism displayed by Oska in his YouTube videos. I sent him a personal message for him to identify the best hat for me. I was asked to upload an image of myself and answer a few simple questions about my height/build etc and I promptly received a reply email with a small selection of hats for me to choose from. I chose two of them and they were promptly dispatched. I received them here in Spain less than 2 weeks later (Postal Deliveries in Spain can be a little slow at times). Oska had warned me about shrinkage so the appropriate size was selected following his simple to follow instructions. I'm really impressed with the craftsmanship and quality of these two hats, and I am extremely grateful to Oska for his help in me choosing the right ones. Well done Oska. Impeccable friendly and professional service and products.

The Casa Blanca is my new favorite hat. I did a bit of research on Truffaux’s YouTube channel. It was a bit difficult to choose which hat to begin with. I opted for the classic. This one may be the first of many.

Oska was super helpful, too, in ensuring that I received the hat in good nick. I live in rural Mexico and some standard shipping methods don't work for me. After explaining this to Oska, he was more than helpful, working with me to find a method that ensured I received the parcel. Do take Oska's sizing advice. While his recommendation was for a size larger than what I normally would wear, I didn't regret taking the advice. The hat fits really well. Thanks again to Oska for your help.

I purchased this hat about three months ago, but I wanted to wear it several times before writing a review. In short, I love this hat. It’s my first hat, so it’s not like I’m a connoisseur, but it was everything I was looking for.

I haven’t gotten overheated once while wearing it. It creates a good shadow around my head, and it looks great on me. I’ve received several compliments. I also love the feel of the straw when I touch it. I contacted Oska before buying it to ask questions, and he was very helpful and encouraging.

If you’re looking for a Panama hat, consider Truffaux. I’m glad I made the purchase. By the way, Oska is right about the hat shrinking. It came slightly too big, and it has now shrunk enough that I need to take out a spacer or two (which came with the hat). I couldn’t be happier.
