The Casablanca Fedora

I purchased this hat about three months ago, but I wanted to wear it several times before writing a review. In short, I love this hat. It’s my first hat, so it’s not like I’m a connoisseur, but it was everything I was looking for.

I haven’t gotten overheated once while wearing it. It creates a good shadow around my head, and it looks great on me. I’ve received several compliments. I also love the feel of the straw when I touch it. I contacted Oska before buying it to ask questions, and he was very helpful and encouraging.

If you’re looking for a Panama hat, consider Truffaux. I’m glad I made the purchase. By the way, Oska is right about the hat shrinking. It came slightly too big, and it has now shrunk enough that I need to take out a spacer or two (which came with the hat). I couldn’t be happier.

I’ve been wanting a true Panama hat for some time, but by having to buy online without being able to actually fit the hat to my head I was reluctant to pull the trigger. Then, voila, I discovered Truffaux. The process was simple, the service personal and friendly, and the quality of the hat and fit excellent. I purchased the King for myself and the Fedora for my daughter. Two happy campers.

I was looking for a proper Panama and had been browsing the web, trying to filter my way through the considerable noise, when I found Truffaux Hatmakers. I'm very glad I did, and even though it took me a good while to decide on a model, the help from Oska made the process both easy and painless. The delivery was also surprisingly quick, especially considering that I live on the other side of the globe, in Sweden.

I'm very happy with my Casablanca fedora. It's a great hat, comfortable and good-looking, and my remaining question is what model I should pick next.
