There many of us who have a longer head. Often it is genetic coming from the Vikings, Scottish and Welsh but it can occur across many cultures.
What it means is that hats are tight on our forehead, and roomy on the sides. It happens to around 30% of people to varying degrees.
We will lengthen the hat, taking the slack from the sides and moving to the front where it a lot more useful. The end result is a nicer fitting hat that grips your head all round, and makes everyone happy. Order this option if you need this done.
Most of my Panamas are soft enough to conform to your head, but if you know you are long or round it is best to mention it and we will work it out for you.
I didn’t know I had a long head but Oska diagnosed it from just a couple of pictures and suggested this adjustment. Hat fits perfectly so he was right on the money!
