The Metropolitan is the perfect traveller. The crochet crown and reinforced wire brim means it can be rolled up and put in your bag, every day, without a problem. Everyone talks about how you can roll a Panama, but it's only true if you like a broken hat. This hat is a true rollable.

A simple natural rounded crown with good ventilation, it just pops back into shape when you put it on your head. The 6cm brim provides good shade and can be snapped up, down or both depending on what you feel like. Relaxed, friendly and easy-going it is probably the most practical summer hat ever made.

Exceptionally popular in Japan and Hawaii. The brim can be worn bucket style or snapped.

Never disappointed with Truffaux Hatmakers

My second go round with Oska at Truffaux. First - the hat - love it and it will get plenty of wear. Second - customer service, the best. Oska tolerated my multiple email questions guiding me through the purchase with grace :) I needed it to be 'right' since it was shipping to the US. Very trustable customer service and advice. I bought this hat and took it to Tasmania with me in my cabin case. It travelled well, is hard wearing and practical and I’m extremely happy with it. Thanks to Oska for his helpful pre-purchase advice. I will look to Truffaux for my future Panama hat purchases as this experience has been excellent.

Beautiful Hat-Beautiful Company

I purchased this hat for my wife’s birthday. I was a bit leery of buying something this personal as a gift, negotiating both the styles and sizing. However, Oska is amazing and helped me make a wise decision. This hat was so lovingly packaged that I could not wait for her birthday and gave it to her the day it arrived.
