This is our favourite party hat - swirling delicious powder blue and deep red with a navy hatband. In Ecuador Mardigras is a three-day water fight - there's grannies pouring buckets from verandahs, teenagers waterboming buses, pickup trucks full of laughing bombers. It is hysterical.
